Bush v AP:

1) AP Has more career touches
2) Bush is younger
3) Bush is a much better reciever
4) AP has an injury history

[/ QUOTE ]

You left out the most important one:

5.) AP is a better running back than Bush.

Period. Exclamation Point. Not question mark.

JoA, who do you add to the Saints, and (more importantly) if the Patriots can add any player in the league, who do you think they add?

I don't think Sammy Morris is a top 10 back. But even if you put LT on the Patriots, how much better are they going to get? Is he going to be like a 6 YPC guy or something?

5.) AP has a ridiculously awesome OL and Bush does not.

LT2 would be particularly awesome on the Pats b/c of his receiving ability. neither maroney nor morris are close to him in this regard.

lastchance,

If the Pats can add anyone in the league, might as well be Champ Bailey.

They have some good corners, but Champ's value over them is still pretty high, and Samuel/Gay would still see plenty of the field as the #2 and #3 cbs.

AP looks like a better runner than Bush based on a few games. Keep in mind that AP certainly has a much better O-Line than Bush, and Sean Payton is a retard.

Any RB/WR/TE to the Saints? Either Smith or Gates. Anybody? Easily Bailey. I think the Pats add <insert top RB here>. I like Gore, Bush, AP, LT if you want to get a little risky, or, once again, Champ Bailey.

Edit: Maybe Ed Reed would be a better addition to the Pats.

agree. The Pats cornerbacks are fine. but they've been hurt by tight ends, and Rodney is old. I think the Pats draft another safety next year.

Is Reed good at covering TE? He's a great gambler/big play guy, but I don't think of him as particularly good in man-to-man coverage, although I could be completely wrong about this.
