Wow, they actually found a job that Hossa doesnt completely suck at: PK

Now he just needs to mind the 4th line with Betts and stay out of the offense.

Every game it seems Hossa is out there early with Jagr and Gomez and by the 3rd period Dawes takes his place. Has anyone else noticed this, or do I only see it right after a PP or PK?

Rozsival has been terrible. Tyutin has been showing a mean streak lately and I love it. Drury is not only lost, but taking penalties.

Avery is scheduled to be back on Saturday v NJ. Strudwick should be on his way back to Hartford.

Hossa is useless to this team if the only way he can produce is on the top line. Dawes is looking good with Drury and Shanny but I would rather put Drury with Toothless and Straka.

Girardi-Very few mistakes.
Stall-Rookie and mistakes will happen, but they aren't major.
Mara-Shot is good, defense is improving(Steal for A. Ward)
Tyutin-Bringing the hip check back one game at a time, and his shot is improving.
Roszival and Malik- I like to call them the [censored] buddies, all they seem to do is hand the puck over to the other team by making mistake after mistake. I'd rather have Strudwick on the PP point than Roszival at this point.

I won't deny that Rozy has had a tough start, but of all of the NYR D-men, he is by far the best for the PP unit. He positions himself very well and knows when to leak down the weak side for shots. He also passes decent in the offensive zone and has a decent shot.

Another good win tonight. First back to back wins all season. But they were both against weak teams. 2 goals is nothing to be proud of but at least we've scored 2+ goals in 2 straight games. Lundqvist is still a Wall but that was not in question. Third shutout of the year. Hopefully we can get some momentum but we still didn't look great, even in the last two wins.
