The kid who came second in the Fulltilt Million yesterday was a losing player untill he won 125K. Just believe that some people can run insanly good. Ask Jamie Gold.

well, if New2NL is correct, he *was* a losing player

losing != bad

just the variance of MTT's

if i had never met JCarver id assume the same

OP is acting like a real jerk. Have you noticed how many donks and novices make the final tables of WSOP and WPT events?

Almost everyone I played with in this event an unknown to me and had little stats. The first three hours played like a $20 MTT. The preflop play was very loose/passive. There are a lot of satellite qualifiers and a lot of people who play a WCOOP NLHE event on a Sunday.

So someone got paid on the 14th, put $500 online because he got a WCOOP promotional email, decided to play the event, got deep, freaked out and IM'd a friend to walk him through the rest of the tournament. I'm not confused.
