ARG GOD DAMN FKING FK FK

Every time I start getting back on the program something stupid happens.

Today I'm front squatting, only have a 25 on each side, just trying to keep good form and everything, and all of a sudden something pinches in my upper back. WTF MY UPPER BACK, it's like a pinched nerve or something near my shoulder blade and it's killing me. Now I have to go easy for a couple of weeks and I'm going to lose motivation.

Screw you, Universe.

(I'm like just finally recovering from my separated shoulder which hasn't healed right and fking clicks and pops and just feels messed up and the doctors recommend no surgery)

well I guess I'll post here too.

Why do I weight less after a night of sleep? I do not peepee or poopoo in between.

Deadlifted three plates for the first time yesterday. Did a sick amount of volume for me in building up to it, but got it. Kinda weak compared to some but something I've been aiming for all summer. It's weird how with DLing you can enter a session and pull like 155 and feel like [censored] but then end up really cranking it out later.

BTW, for Thremp, I also have a 400 goal. Going somewhat by past progress and intuition I think I will get it by the end of January. Maybe I'll still have be benching 175 then and look like a disproportioned monkey. [censored] bench.

Question. Considered making my own thread about this but figured this would be a better place.

Regarding squat/deadlift/bench, what do you think the average male's 1RM is? Let's say between age 15-55 is the only stipulation. I have rough ideas of my own but think I'm overestimating.

Interesting. Some of the "untrained" ones seem high but I don't know for sure. Ty for the link.

Yeah, I thought so too. Most of my lifts were under the untrained standard when I started, but maybe I'm just really weak lol.

Re: August Monthly [censored] Thread

Yeah, their "untrained" is definitely not "unfit". It's someone who's quite fit and just not a regular weight lifter. Also :

Untrained

Expected level of strength in a healthy individual who has not trained on the exercise before but can perform it correctly. This represents the minimum level of strength required to maintain a reasonable quality of life in a sedentary individual.

LOL ? I know people who do around half the "untrained" weight and would consider their quality of life pretty reasonable. Weed and video games = quality.
