wpt stars

I don't categorically hate them all, negraneau, cindy violet, fergusen, raymer and others were very pleasant to be around. The problem is that so many more are total jerks, especially to dealers and staff. Another major problem is the media editing out all the bad stuff and making the biggest jerks seem like swell guys.

Not like money? LOL you haven't done much dealing to the "superstars" I see. I'll take 3-6 and 1-2 no limit players any day and you can have the superstiffs.

Al,

you didn't understand me. First, I am not a dealer. By "wpt superstars" I was talking about the type of player that sees poker on TV, and goes to their local B&M to give it a try. Its this type of player that some of your previous posts seemed to bash, which spawned my money comment. No worries though.

Also, the music rule is made by Missouri Gaming? wtf

i don;t think the music is a mgc rule, since people at argosy have headphones on everytime i'm there. I think it is just a casino rule, probably made above the poker room

Here is the scoop regarding electronic devices in the poker room. Many of the MGC rules that we have to live by are not very specific. When there are issues that fall into grey areas it is up to the boat sergeant and local MGC agents to interupt the rules. The MGC staff is actually stationed at each casino, so another words they just don't float around from each property.

The MGC staff at Argosy (KC), Ameristar (KC), Ameristar (STL) interupt the rule diffently than the staff at both MO Harrah's properties. I have actually contacted Jeff City (MGC headquarters) stating that I either want to offer the same thing to my customers or feel that they shouldn't be allowed to. They said they were going to send a letter out to all MO poker rooms explaining their rule, but that has not happened the last 3 months.

This is kind of a bad subject with me because (in my eyes) it sort of puts both of my poker rooms at a competitive disadvantage. I have even taken this to the GM of the property to see if I could get a push from him, but it still has been a very slow process.

This is definitely not a Harrah's policy, if it was I would of already had it changed. I believe head phones should be treated just like reading a newspaper in that it is acceptable as long as you don't slow the game down.

Hope that helps,
BG
