Or saving your money and going down to a 20" 1600x1200. You're gaining very little in pixel space with the 28"; all you're gaining is that each pixel is going to be bigger, so I suppose it would be useful if you find the smaller monitors tough on the eyes and don't mind paying the big $$ difference.

Indeed, its the one I have. I bought mine at thenerds.net, although the price has gone up since I bought mine. If you use Google checkout you save $10. The total cost would be $616.

I am happy with my purchase since I can now play more tables than I have before without any overlap. I went from 5 to 8 although with resizeable tables you can play 12 at FT, Stars or Abs with no overlap.

It really just depends on what you want from a monitor that you play poker on. I had a 20" 1600x1200 Samsung, but I wanted to expand on the amount of tables I play at without overlap. My 28" is nice because I can still play 2 tables at normal size and then add 6 resizeable tables too. However, if you play 4 tables or less at a time, anything more than a 20" is unnecessary.

If you're resizing with the 28", you could do the same with the 20" and get more than 4 tables...but of course you'll always get a few more on the 28". I imagine it's nice for movies and such as well.

Re: who has dell 30\" monitor

folks, there's a really good FAQ in the Computer & Tech Help forum which answers a lot of the technical questions about the 30" monitors.

There are also a number of threads in there about the thing, and discussing it in comparison to the HP 30" monitor.

Also, the screen is 2560x1600. Use Windows' Calculator to determine if it will fit in x many tables of your site.

Bump,

I was just gonna get two Samsung 20s. What is best for 8 tabling? 2 22s? 2 20s? widescreen or normal?

Those are my questions, thanks in advance for the help
