I love the pink door. I also think big slabs of meat with expensive cocktails are romantic so I dig the metropolitan.

Also, of the Tom Douglas restaurants I think the Dahlia Lounge is the best by far.

Oh BTW I lived in Wallingford for a long time so I know the moniker tangletown but I am not sure it has really caught on outside the area.

getting rid of the needle exchange and the open air drug market also helped kill the term. I haven't heard anyone refer to 2nd and pike as the blade for a few years now.
