Had mine out last year. Gave me some pill, then novacaine. I think i was supposed to be asleep, but I didn't fall asleep for 90% of it I'm pretty sure. Either way you can't really feel it so its all good. Most of the pain/annoyance was gone by the next day.

Don't get dry sockets.

If i knew i could be asleep for it i would likely do it, but i thought you have to be awake on gas to have it done?

Hi OP,
i had them out last year with a general anesthetic. I dont know what all the fuss was about, didnt hurt too much, plus you get drugged up and get a week off work to play pokerz. do it!
