Just went to CardPlayer.COM: NO MENTION WHAT SO EVER OF THE AP SCANDAL! but there was a big "Absolute Poker Banner" with jackpot info on the front page. like i said 98% of poker players don't read forums and most of the ones that do don't care! they always figured online poker was rigged anyway.

Thanks for coming here stranger and pointing this out with your very first post!

Of course these stories aren't mentioned on Cardplayer.com's home page, nor are they mentioned in the News page. CardPlayer is trying to bury this story to protect their advertiser. CardPlayer sucks and should be boycotted until they start refusing AP advertising and start featuring the AP cheating story .

yes it may be that he owns a stake in AP but has no knowledge day to day running of the comnpany or any knowledge of its inner workings. he may well be innocent of any wrong doing. but would someone of this stature (and business acumen) in his community realy be this naieve. maybe mr norton has been cynically used by aj green and scott tomm ect?

I just want to highlight that there is no evidence - beyond an anonymous poster on an internet message board - that there was any wrong doing by AP in the car raffle and/or the charity popcorn.

I understand what you are saying, but i'm not anonymous. I will stand behind the car lease fraud 100%. The person who told me about it is above reproach and telling the truth. I will happily bet lots of $$ that it is a fact.

Further on popcorngate, this person also said the proceeds made it back to Vancouver as it was in plain view in the office. Where it went after that, they didn't know.

Didn't someone post a link to a 2p2 thread where it stated a 2p2 member won the car?

Probably nothing...but I was watching the 2005 WSOP and they mentioned that Mark Seif "Went to Miami" for a couple of days before the main event.

Seems odd to leave the WSOP before the main event to hang out in Miami...I know that there has been some Southern Florida AP connections made in the past...

[/ QUOTE ]

I have been to Costa Rica several times. I have had dinner in Escazu seral times... Does that mean I am involved?

This reaching for straws, and repeated attempts to drag Seif back into this thing is crazy.

It is diluting the threads and minimizing the good work done by many people.

- Harass AP affiliates, blacklist them, refuse to give business to anyone who deals with AP. Loss of affiliate traffic is definitely going to hurt AP.

[/ QUOTE ]

What about rakeback affiliates? I took AP and UB off my rakeback site but i'm not sure it's the correct decision.

If a client wants to play at AP knowing what has happened, who am I to tell them they can't?

Tuco.

Tuco said drawing when he first posted the snippet.

Everyone else assumed it was the freeroll.
That's how I read that.

MrTimCaum posts here regularly and is a known player.

I do not think that is what Tuco was referring to.

It was posted:This also explains why the KGC hasn't undertaken any serious enforcement actions. They don't have the personnel, and they don't care to. They will never touch Absolutes "license" because Absolute is their customer and tribe needs their revenues.

Reply - I looked at the list of those holding gaming permits, and Absolute Poker is not listed. Sometimes gambling companies are in the status of applicants, pending approval, and were there recent ownership changes at AP that might explain why they are not listed. By the middle of the B's I had gotten to 55 permit holders, so they seem to have roughly a thousand of them, generating ten million dollars per year in license fees, so they probably can do some investigation. In addition, the receipt of ten thousand dollars is probably a minor matter to them, given the large number of permit holders. I think a more important consideration is that they have limited power over their permit holders. They can deny the permit holder the right to operate within their land, which would deprive them of the right to use the apparently excellent server facilities there, but otherwise what could the KGC do to enforce any permit holder to do what they wanted? I guess it could cost some business to be sanctioned by a gaming commission, and the right to put your servers on top of the major communication spine running beneath the tribe's land is probably worth something, but I would not count on the KGC being able to force a rogue firm to act responsibly. I think market forces are the real enforcer of honesty. Gambling sites can make money - if people choose to visit them. If they cheat, few will visit. AP and Ultimate Bet are probably worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and preserving that value will imo force them to try to be honest. I know if I had an asset worth that much money - I would work hard to preserve its value. I assume the owner of the sites is not insane and will also work hard to clean up the mess.

I just deleted some files from my desktop. Before I did it I compared the old Nov. 2006 KGC Gaming Regulations with the new ones and I think this will still become an interesting matter. Why did they change their regulations? For example you cannot file a complaint with the Kahnawake Communal Arbitration Procedure any longer. Do you know why? I guess I know an answer.

[/ QUOTE ]

Someone said the new regulations contemplate a brick and mortar casino being built on their land. New arrangemnet, new rules perhaps.

There's a lot of players here making plenty of money in 2 or 3 hours a day. That leaves plenty of free time to make sure AP gets whats coming.

I'm gonna take a little nap then search for all the smaller poker forums to make sure they have up to date posts about this.

Get some red bull and take down the liars.
