goddamn people you don't get your profile unless you pay for it, the one there is a SAMPLE, not your actual profile.

The "you would win at" ranking is a little suspect for sure. I'm sure Renton and SABRE could play significantly higher live if they had the bankroll. If you've spent any time watching the "Live at the Bike" archives, it is oh so clear that there are some people of suspect talent and fat wallets driving those games.

Online, the higher stakes games are so stacked in comparison. Also, much of low/mid-stakes profitability seems driven by the ability to play in a lot of games instead of the single tabling you have to do live. It can be hard to justify moving up to a really tough 5/10 or 10/20 game when you can play 16 soft 1/2 or 2/4 games.

It does seem to do a reasonably good job stack ranking general poker knowledge. The two or three people how give really good answers show up at the top. Though, that certainly isn't the whole story. You can beat a lot of games with some discipline and starting hand selection skills. And it doesn't measure the ability to stick in that big river bluff even if you know the guy can't call.

The quiz also presents some difficult questions that were deep stack in nature and also some tournament end-game style pot odds questions. Neither of those skills are critical in beating a mid-stack .50/1 or 1/2 game. Occasionally helpful, sure, but not critical.

Still, it was a nice diversion.
