And travis is one of the best players in vegas on 5-10 10-20 and he could crush the 25-50 once he starts playing that.

I know all the players in that game personally,

there is no way the people cheat there. It is indeed one of the most mannered live games in vegas.

Saying Ann is good is ridiculous. I mean she is nice but she whines about bad beats ALL THE TIME and she shortstacks and plays completely ridiculous game selection. Jumps from 10-20 to 5-10 to 1-3 short buyin everywhere but not even playing a good shortstacked game.

She does put in a lot of hours.

Anyways game is not rigged and most of them are coooool people

I always love the guys (mostly locals) who sit down with a stack of 5-10k behind them and *never* play it. Bob Safai has been the *only* person I've seen sit down at 5-10 at Wynn and play more than 3k in chips. (For those that sat down with more than 5k)

I've seen Ann take some ungodly beats but they were always when she was playing short and I'm sure people just called because whats another few hundos and sucked out.

i heard that where was a cheating scandal there like 6 months ago with marked cards, but dont know the entire story

I do

Buddy of mine that plays for a living in vegas "knew" the guy that was doing it.

However he wasn't just doing it at the Wynn, that's where he was caught though. He was SUPER STUPID...and yeah, it was marking the cards.

Re: Wynn 5-10 NL

We were playing the crazy 10-20 game in the Wynn during WSOP. Ann decided she wanted to shortstack rathole that game. Cannot really blame her cause that game was shortstack utopia.

I limped and elky made it 200$, which he did 80% of the time, Ann just called and it was immediately obvious that she had a monster. She was playing about 1k more. As she flats elky says 'sick Aces'.

Flop comes J84 and as elky and ann are only ones in the pot he just pushes his 100$ chips stack in. And I mean push as in he shoves against his stack and they all roll over the table splashing the pot. Ann SNAPCALLS. Turn is a Q and elky starts laughing and says NUTS! He did have 9T, she did have Aces.

The way the hand went down and the way elky did everything made me cry laughing. Was also kinda ironic cause she had been complaining for an hour straight how she is, like so many grinders in vegas, the unluckiest person on earth.

sorry but the Wynn 5/10 still sucks donkey balls compared to most 5/10s. Plus it has ugly light blue chips.. ewww!

I'd much rather play the Bellagio 10/20 which is twice the stakes and only marginally more difficult.

Those chips are butt ugly. My biggest complaint about the Wynn is that.

[/ QUOTE ]

But according to an article i read they have the cleanest chips of all the casinos. The only one that washes them regularly.

Abraham Grey. Always hung out with Michael Mizrachi aka "The Grinder" He was marking the Aces with green spots, funniest part of the story was the 2-3 days he was caught doing it, he lost.

her name's ann. she's got a lot of potential, she just needs to plug a few leaks in her game. she's hyper-aggressive, reads hands well, and has a ton of heart, which are all qualities that the local grinder-nits lack.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, if the goal of poker were to be hyper-aggressive and to have a ton of heart, I guess the local grinder-nits would be dismal failures. Since, however, the goal of poker is to make money, and grinding is generally the best way to do this, I guess we have to give the local grinder-nits credit for being successful poker players.

Grinding isn't sexy, but it gets the money.

P.S.: Grinders [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hyperaggressive players.
