Re: College Coaches in the Hot Seat
Has anyone heard Les Miles to Michigan? Seems to be running around a lot on the A&M board.

[/ QUOTE ] dude its all over Michigan newspapers, LSU papers, and it was even in the freaking New York Times. Miles went to Michigan under Bo, was an assistant there in the 80s, still gets down on one knee when he talks about Michigan (in front of his own team), and says Michigan is his dream job. Apparently those close to him say he's gone the second (if) he gets that offer. |
Re: College Coaches in the Hot Seat
Gill's resume isn't deep enough?
Osbourne's wasn't either, then. Gill is the obvious choice if Paul Johnson turns Nebraska down. Nebraska fans are understanding if we are lacking talent for a period of time but not understanding of throwing (proven) tradition out the window. |
Re: College Coaches in the Hot Seat
I heard Bill Callahan and Nebraska AD Steve Pederson might not have a job at Nebraska next year. Confirm anyone??

Re: College Coaches in the Hot Seat
Pederson is already gone
Texas A&M-Nebraska in "Which coach is fired first?" Bowl this weekend |
Re: College Coaches in the Hot Seat
pederson is gone.
rumors are spreading that BC will be fired next year, yeah. and possibly even before years end. turner gill, no, i don't really know if he's the man. he doesn't really have much HC experience. rumors are flying with all sorts of names. bo pelini, remington, etc etc... |
Re: College Coaches in the Hot Seat
Orgeron at Ole Miss will not be fired this year. If 2008 is a losing season, then he will probably be gone, but he will get 08.
Houston Nutt at Arkansas however is probably history barring a big turn around |
Re: College Coaches in the Hot Seat
Assuming that Miles leaves LSU for Michigan, who would LSU look at? I'd have to assume Bo Pelini would be the early favorite.
