I'm Entropy xx, kinda mediocre i think, well not medicore, I'm either one of the better players (not that that's saying much) or i'm playing like [censored] b/c i hate losing. Out of 50K hands, I've played like [censored] for like 15K.

I pay off too much.

[/ QUOTE ]

ur also a little too tight imo. and IIRC ur standard opening raise is to 6. zwtf.

[/ QUOTE ]

Depends on when you catch me... I'm either too tight or too loose.

Yes, my standard raise is 3x+1x for every limper. I honestly don't think 8 v 6 makes much diff at all in the grand scheme; if it didn't mean typing every time, I'd raise 7.

People who call raises calls wether it is 6 or 8. So if your playing tight, might as well build a bigger pot since you will take the pot down more often than not. But it's obviously not a huge thing. Makes more sense to raise small if you are 40/30 than if you are 16/10 I would think though.

Overall I'm 22/14. In a session I played recently where I consciously tried to tighten up because I'd been dumb with too many marginal hands lately, I was 20/13. My loose mode is like 25/17. Not a very wide range, but I can tell the difference. In general, I'm aiming for a middle-of-the-road degree of tight/loose.

Relative to the enormous postflop mistakes I make, I don't think this makes much difference, but it is interesting, and I'll definitely play a session or two making it 8 just to see. Your point about 40/30 v 16/10 makes sense.

What do you think of his potting every flop strategy? Do you think it is suporior to just betting 3/4 pot?

Re: Stars 1/2nl

sawseech is a thinking player who imo thinks too much for 1/2 and gives his opponents too much dredit for higher thought process, i think hes a good player though. but he doesnt really make that many moves
from what i see he seems to like making herioc calldowns
i know he posts at liquidpoker.net and is a frequent contributor to the strategy section there. he seems to have the respect of the higher limit players on the strength of that

Zdrawcabssa i dont think hes that good

tr0nni is a tightass nit

megaluck is weaktight

SFcellman is ok i think but sometimes makes donkish moves

Bart$impson tight/nitty

anyone know "artpoker"?

iNdIaN fUrY or whatever that guys name is: ive heard hes one of the better players at 2/4

also there was this guy "alwaysair" 12 tabling 1/2nl for a ew sessions a week or two ago and he was very good imo

DBL_J_22 or something like that is a pretty solid player from what i see

is bonesey that guy whose standard raise is 5bb ($10) with a homer simpsons display pic?

also anyone know "STACKPLZ"

yabastid is solid player from what i see but dont have much info on him so i guess that means he plays just good cards
