Pretty sure Yeti is the premise that a 3-bet on a dry board is almost ALWAYS a bluff. i.e. - no way villain on that board is 3-betting a set, so he rarely has a hand strong enough that can call a shove.

Bet/fold. People will hardly ever turn a made hand into a bluff here, so c/c is no good. However, they can and will put you on a random trip barrel and call with all sorts of 88/56 type hands or whatever.

Def. don't c/c though, if you check I think you gotta fold - he won't VB worse, and it's pretty unlikely that he will turn made hands into bluffs.

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a new laptop and would love some help. I was very very close to buying an HP but decided I would like to be pretty informed before buying one (unlike my desktop where I just went to Best Buy and bought the one I thought would be good based on price and looks). So for those of you who play poker on a laptop more often, could you give a brief description on why you like/dislike it and if you would recommend it.

Thanks

i'd actually recommend against dell laptops. i have one and it's been nothing but trouble. small sample, obviously, but everyone i know who owns one complains of the same stuff. dells tend to run cheaper than other laptops, but i think there's a reason that's the case. a few hundred bucks shouldn't be an issue for an msnler anyway.
