I lived in Abeno-ku in the maze of alleys and one-way streets near Showacho-eki. Tennoji was the closest place to go for shopping/bars/karaoke.

Endurance and refractory period are inversely related. When I was your age, I didn't last very long but was ready to go again almost immediately afterwards. Now I last forever, but need mucho rest before another session.

Florida_LSU was some great football.

Had a great time at Oktoberfest. It really felt like I was in exactly the right place doing exactly the right thing at exactly the right time. Met a lot of cool people, drank a lot of expensive beer, and "sang" along to a lot of random music. Was shocked by the number of locals around (am used to Mardi Gras, et al being mostly tourists). Too bad my German isn't good enough to wear Leiderhosen and not feel like a fraud. Also, I now have a hot, young doctor who wants me to move to Munich and be her boyfriend. Am very tempted.
