I wonder if Scott and his crew are paying taxes on their stolen income. Maybe the IRS should look into this.

Certainly not to the US (I'm guessing). But I'd be surprised if they were able to completely avoid taxes in the places they operate...

Yea, it's like 2+2 moved all-in on AP and after a loooong time of deliberating (and the whole poker community calling the clock on them), they finally folded... well, let's hope so at least. If they decide to actually call, they're going to find out they have a losing hand (damn, i'm in serious analogy mode right now).

I predict the real winners in this whole mess will be the Costa Rican judges, prosecutors and police officers who will likely be paid handsomely for not pursuing criminal fraud chargers against certain AP officials.

Someone needs to tell those prosecutors not to settle for some small bribe on this one - they've just flopped a full house.

"we will be inviting anyone from the online poker community who wants to take part in this investigation as a means of ensuring how committed we are to getting this matter resolved."

I dont know why this is getting ignored by people, if you really are afraid they will cover this thing up further why doesnt someone take them up on this offer and join the investigation?

OMG this thread is filled with worthless speculation that does nothing more then make a thread that should be half a page be 6 pages.

Can someone explain to me why there's all the hate for mark sief? Is everyone still suspecting him of wrong doing because of 1 hand that may or may not have even happened a year ago?

[/ QUOTE ]

It wasn't just one hand. The hand mentioned is just the most suspicious of the bunch that occurred during stuckinpgh's HU session with Seif.

stuckinpgh talked about the match in question less than a month ago on 2p2. He repeated that Seif open folded to his full house and seemed to play perfectly against him over the course of many hands after leaving briefly and returning. He has never recanted. All he did was back away from his belief that he was cheated, which he said before this new information came to light. He has not posted in the past month. Dan Druff knows him personally and apparently talked to him about the session as it was happening.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showth...page=0&vc=1

We don't have any proof of shadiness on Seif's part because apparently no one has the hand histories in question. If we got access to them and found out that stuckinpgh's story is accurate, how would you view Mark Seif then? Keep in mind he has denied that the hand ever happened.

Edited for poor wording.

I've offered and asked to be allowed to help them investigate. If anyone from AP is reading this, let's get working.

EDIT: PM me or send me an email, it's in my profile

don't u have people high up there u can contact at this point to basically invite YOURSELF, instead of relying on them to contact u via 2p2, which they won't?

I didn't lose a dime because I have never played on Absolute nor high stakes, but I'm sensing a real lack of anger in some folks...

These people stole from you, same as if you they broke into your house and took money out of your wallet or mugged you in the street.

These people are criminals (the people who actively participated in the cheating). They don't need to apologize, they need to go to prison.
