my money is still stuck somewhere in the atm netherworld. It doesn't even show up anywhere on my account info. I would love to transfer it back to Bodog but obviously I can't. I keep calling there worthless phone number but they keep giving me the run around.

I hate Nucharge and Bodog for putting my money back in there.

I was mad at bodog too, but they let me put my whole 13k back on there no problem, and last time I requested a check by courier on the 27th and got it on the 31st

I did a little research and found a poker site called Amco Poker. They accept US players, and use Nucharge (called MakeAdeposit.) I was thinking we could just deposit onto this site, and withdrawl using their Bank Transfer option. It takes 7-14 to hit your bank account after it's approved.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not so sure about Amco Poker. I have a withdrawal pending for 22 days now which is 1 day more than they advertise as the longest time to get a withdrawal to your bank. I have spoken to support who said that sometimes the cashier department is late and she would email them. But I expect it to take 1-2 more weeks.

I find it amazing that people in this thread are so uninformed about Bodog and Calvin Ayre and NuCharge. The other forums have been filled with your answers for months, yet people here are just beginning to wonder if there might be something a little shady about Ayre and Bodog? Is the Pope German, for God's sake people?

Check out SBR, there are hundreds of posts there about Ayre and Bodog and they are very informative. Check out OGD for the real Calvin Ayre story from people who have known him for years. Google "Calvin Ayre" and "Cold Eye" and read what comes up.

Its wakey, wakey time in Pokerland.

big update: My 3 wires have came through. I requested them on Oct. 15th. I guess nucharge users w/ money pending have no reason to panic although it was quite a scary experience watching the website go down numerous times. I will be closing my nucharge account and using the check/courier option from now on.

nucharge guy flat out lied and said it wasn't possible to get money back on bodog, but I just got the 10k of my money that wasn't in a pending wire transfer back on bodog. It also took like 3 minutes for my login information to work for some reason

edit: reversed the wire and got that money on bodog too thank GOD. Bodog only took like 7 days for it's last check.

The article I read about Calvin Ayre did not say how he became a billionaire. It just mentioned that he was banned from trading stocks and imported 800 lbs of weed into BC. He was a stock shiester and allegedly helped fabricate lies about a custody battle. The article I read was from a biased perspective based on the language used. I found nothing on SBR about bodog and ayre being shady. That is if SBR stands for sports book report.

He's not a billionaire. That is just ridiculous and its based on some bizarre calculation Forbes magazine did on Calvin based on the standards that are used for a publicly listed company, which uses something called an earnings multiple.

However, as one stock expert pointed out, that method is completely invalid when you business is a criminal offense in your only real market, i.e. the United States, and when the head of the company could be in prison on a moments notice.

Bodog's desperate for customers. They've always dealt duel lines and had really low limits, but they ran such a terrific marketing campaign that all the small-timers kept feeding them money. Fast forward to the after-Frist effect, and these same suckers who were Bodog's lifeblood are no longer interested in jumping hurdles to fund their accounts anymore. The clock is ticking on when Calvin's gonna run with everyone's money like he has several times in the past...

Re: Nucharge Bodog

I ordered the ATM card from Nucharge Oct 24th and received it today Nov 2nd. I assume US withdrawls are considered international which means there is a $3.50 nucharge fee per withdrawl plus $2.00 ATM fee (unless there is an Nucharge ATM in my town...LOL).

I've got around $1200 in my NUcharge account. Does anyone know of a way to get all my money out while minimizing the $5.50 fees? My guess is $400 is a limit on most ATM's so I'll have $16.50 in fees. Am I missing any other fees? The reason I'm asking is because I still have a bank wire being processed which I can either cancel or let go through. At this point, I would be thrilled to get my money while only paying $16.50 in fees (how times have changed).

On the surface, the ATM card seems to be better than the bank wire which costs me $10 from Nucharge and $15 from my bank. Also, the ATM is instant once you get the card. I suppose for amounts over $3000 the bank wire might be more cost effective.

Re: Nucharge Bodog

Just deposit it back into Bodog. I did it yesterday and it was instantly in my Bodog account.

Rushstreet07 11-02-2007 09:51 PM

Re: Nucharge Bodog

Are the ATM cards working right now? The fees are no biggie, honestly.... if you value getting cash which is basically untraceable.... anyhow if the ATM cards are working I am able to take out $800.00 at a time at my bank and then I have to go back and transfer more because that is all the card will hold.

To take out $1200 you should transfer the maximum to the ATM card go withdraw $800.00 at the bank (some ATMs make you go less than $800 at a time but the one at Wal Mart lets you take out $800 on one transaction) then go back and transfer the balance of the $1200 to your card - you should be able to withdraw another $380 for $1180 total.

GL, let me know if ATM cards are working again. They were temporarily down earlier today my guess is they will work agian Monday but sure would be nice to know if they are working sooner.

Thanks for the advice/info rushstreet. I just called Nucharge and you're correct, the are not processing ATM transactions right now. They said it would be another week before the system was up and running.

I completely agree that having an untraceable money transfer system is great.

Re: Nucharge Bodog

Update on my situation in case it helps anyone:

I contacted Bodog about my problem, and complained about them sending my money back to NUcharge instead of sending a check like I asked.
Bodog contacted NUcharge and Nucharge support contacted me. After some back and forth NUcharge support said my money would be transfered from the ATM section back into my main account within 72 hours. So hopefully, by monday I'll be able to transfer it back to Bodog.

Question: Is NUcharge charging the same 3% for redepositing back to Bodog even though they are the ones that failed to cash out the money when they had it?

lol@worrying about 5 dollars in atm fees
if you get that 1200 out without spending 50-60 dollars in fees you are a supergod. They charge some random exchange rate fees as well.

Re: Nucharge Bodog

__________________________________________________ ___

You are incorrect. Nucharge does not charge the exchange fee. It is the bank/ATM you withdraw from that charges the fee... and it varies by bank. Do some research and find the one with the lowest exchange rate. The ATM I use does not charge a per transaction fee because somehow the ATM card is in their network... also very low exchange rate. I can withdraw $1560 total on two transactions and after I make those withdraws my ATM card is left with a balance of about $22.00 AUS which means I am only paying a about $25.00 in fees to get $1560.... thats a little over 1.5% which is not bad at all...

Does this make me a supergod? Of course not. If you do your homework you can withdraw very reasonable.... but if you just rush off to the first ATM you find and don't research the fees that is your problem not Nucharge. Some ATMs will charge a per transaction fee and limit your withdraw to $400 per transaction plus charge a large currency conversion fee. You want an ATM with low concersion fee, no per transaction fee and/or allows you to withdraw $800 at a time. LOL @ at letting US banks rob you cause you're too lazy to do the research.

__________________________________________________ _________

I wouldn't have gone to that bank more than twice when I noticed the discrepancy. Serioulsy find a Woodforest National Bank (based in Houston) or do some research. There is no reason to pay $68 for a $800 withdraw. I have never paid that much even before I was using Woodforest... at this time, the most important thing is for Nucharge to get the damn ATM working again. The thing is out of service more than its in service which makes me wonder if they have a cash flow problem - actually I truly believe their problems are more cash flow than technical... they use the technical excuse everytime they are short on cash IMO.

Re: Nucharge Bodog

thanks rush
everyone else on here seems to have similar problems that i have with the fees
nucharge themselves said you would be charged 3% so i assumed it was standard
Im not used to searching banks by exchange rate fees

I though nucharge was a shady piece of [censored] since the first days it opened and said "click to play here" which was later remved. Their problems seem to be both cash flow and technical.

Re: Nucharge Bodog

It has been a few weeks since signed up for Nucharge, and I have yet to receive my atm card.

I emailed nucharge (via their website "open up a ticket function) and inquired about when I would receive my card.

They replied:

Dear User,

Thank you for your email.

Currently the ATM functionality is down & this includes delivery of cards for Nucharge customers . I suggest that if you are trying to withdraw funds that you choose "Bank wire " at the reduced fee of $10.

I apologize for the inconvenience the ATM issue could be causing you & trust if there is anything else we can help you with that you email or phone + 1 xxx xxx xxxx .

Kind regards

Customer Support.

It appears that Bodog is aware of this situation, as they allow me to deposit using Nucharge, however, under the withdrawal options, Nucharge is not available, however, check by courier (free once a month, $20.00 fee for more withdrawals) and check by mail is available. If I am able to successfully withdraw by courier or mail after a nucharge deposit, I will post here.

As we have all been knocking Bodog, I must take time to state that I have never had any problems withdrawing. I recently received a check by courier around a week after the payout was approved. The check cleared without issues.

Re: Nucharge Bodog

DO NOT.....REPEAT.....DO NOT do business with NuCharge. They are actively engaged in a widespread scam to steal millions upon millions of dollars from their customers and respective agents by converting funds on stored value cards to their corporate coffers. They do not answer their phones, and as most of you are aware, their website has not been operational for more than two weeks. This company is a complete fraud. They have been holding over $3800 of mine for six weeks, and they will simply not release my funds. Their only talent as a company is to lie, cheat and steal from hard working people. Anyone is chooses to do business with these charlatans will lose their money. NuCharge is a FRAUD!

Just wanted to let you know that BoDog allowed me to deposit the funds that were stuck in my NuCharge account back into my BoDog account.

I immediately requested a check by courier directly from BoDog, which I received at my doorstep Fedex about 4 days later.

I've got nothing bad to say about Bodog, in my opinion they are a standup outfit and has earned my confidence again.

Re: Nucharge Bodog

You got lucky, Bill. Nucharge is a complete and utter fraud and they have systematically stolen almost $4000.00 from me. Their system crashed (or so they say), and they have held my fund hostage for almost 9 weeks now. I already know I will never see my money again. Each time I call, they tell me a different lie. I have caught them in so many lies, that it's now laughable what they say to me next. This company is bad news, staffed by charlatans, liars, and thieves. Anyone who does business with NuCharge needs to have his head examined. Not only does NuCharge steal your money, they laugh in your face about it and challenge you to do anything about it. These people are beyond crooked. I would trust a Nigerian on Ebay LONG before I would trust these people.

Gid your Nuchharge relationship begin with BoDog? Perhaps your best action would be the same as I (if so) and just transfer your NuCharge money back into Bo Dog and then have them send you a check?

Only my opinion. Proceed at your own risk!

Re: Nucharge Bodog

My recent experience with Nucharge:
Oct.7: Request for withdrawal via ECheck
Oct.14: ECheck withdrawal denied and cancelled. Account suspended
Oct.16: Request for withdrawal via ECheck
Oct.25: ECheck withdrawal cancelled.
Oct.25: Request for withdrawal via Wire
Nov.10: Wire still pending. I CANCELLED Wire request and deposited funds on Bodog.

I did log a number of support tickets. They responded rather quickly but could do nothing more than state that they are very busy and will get to all requests in due time.
This is unacceptable to me. My first request was made over a month ago.

Some good news:
I made another payout from Bodog on Nov.6, a check via courier. I received it on Nov.9. Now that's acceptable!!

I finally got my money put back into my main acct from the ATM card. The last word I had heard was that it was going to take another 10 days. But it was moved last night and I moved it immediately back to Bodog. Nucharge didn't take a deposit fee, but they were generous with themselves over the exchange rate. But I am still very glad. One less thing to be fustrated about.
