We are talking POST FLOP now.
Tommy wants her to RERAISE his raise after the flop.
He signals that by putting a stack of chips on his card vs preflop signal to call a raise of one chip on his cards.

i got that the first time. You still dont seem to understand he doesn't have to signal. If there was a signal he should signal her to stay out, not to isolate. Isolation should be by default so there is no evidence. LDO.

Why on earth would he want her to reraise his bet? What is he trying to accomplish by doing this? If they wanted to cheat why wouldn't he signal her to bet, he checks, then after the lady calls her bet, HE reraises. It makes no sense.

You should be pretty embarrassed about "going ballistic" and making such a huge scene over absolutely nothing. And if they actually were cheating, they were doing such an awful job that I'd let them keep putting in 520 dollars postflop when I have position on both of them, just waiting for the moment when I've flopped a strong hand.

Why would people who were cheating sit next to each other? If they were any good at cheating, wouldn't they want to sit across from each other?

I have no vendeta against the Bellagio. The fact that they where colluding was also told to me by the poker player sitting next to me that had played against them on many occasions in the 5-10 game.

Well that clears a lot up.

Did he tell you about all the rigged flops on Pokerstars too?

I think I got this now:

Tommy picks up a hand he wants to go with and he wants Sue to smooth call him preflop so that she can re-raise him post flop to isolate one player. So he stacks his chips on his cards preflop otherwise Sue might fold. Sue calls, the older lady calls and then it's all set up for the post flop squeeze play. He doesn't get paid off in a big way but by doing this enough times he comes out way ahead.

Too many responses center around whether the cheating works or not. Reminds me of chip dumping threads. The point is that you have to stop it before the inept cheats become skilled ones.

TT that might slightly reduce the likelyhood of them cheating. But I think enough very good players have been known to collude in the past that we shouldn't accept it.

I just want to know if "David Troyer" is related to Verne Troyer and can get us all into the Playboy Mansion whenever we're nearby?

Re: Cheating at Bellagio Poker Room

I have played recently at Bellagio and am convinced that there are several teams working the room. Despite the somewhat muddled presentation here, there is no doubt the Bellagio is doing little to nothing to prevent collusion at its tables.

Re: Cheating at Bellagio Poker Room

Today I played with a couple who were identified to me as a team by another player in the casino. After monitering them closely I found that they were both good players and liked each other a lot. They might be cheating on their spouses but they ain't cheating at poker.
