Well Thailand is led by a military junta that overthrew the elected government, so Im fairly sure they dont live up to the expectations of the OP.

EU Citizenship is something citizens of the member states of EU gets, its not a citizenship of its own. So to get it you have to become a Swede or German or Polak or something first.

maybe you can try Taiwan, a lot of white ppl go there and teach English, I remember if you get to stay there for couple years, you get to apply for the Taiwanese citizenship. I haven't heard anything negative about living in Taiwan from those white ppl yet. just my opinion.

most countries tax more than u.s.

make sure u pick a country that will always have freedom for its people.

new zealand fits the bill nicely but taxes high and spends it all on its people.

Some wealthy Americans have in fact changed citizenship due to tax reasons. I believe they are allowed only 180 days per year on US soil. Try google on this, I'm sure you will see, they also have homes in Caymans and such.

Changing citizenship due to tax reasons does not relieve you of paying US taxes. The IRS can still collect for 10 years.

just look it up and you will see, there are alot of tax breaks for even the first ten years. When your 35 years old and inherited 100 million dollars, it makes sense to leave.

Not sure why you're getting so bent out of shape about it, but thanks for the link anyway.

Clearly, for some people, it does make sense. I'm not getting the feeling that OP is wealthy enough to get those breaks.
