They do stand for Electricite de France, which is quite a big company, and not just in France (eg they own London Electricity, sponsored the rugby world cup etc.) That might just make it slightly more funny though?

Perosnally I don't like "EDF", it sounds too much like "Eléctricité de France" (french national power company) to my ears. Then again I'm probably the only one with that problem. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I like the smoking room, but I think EDF is the best. Honorable mention to EDF Discussion Forum.
