it's pretty clear when you consider the fact that the pats only lost last year, in a road game, due to a monumental collapse. the colts have remained stagnant, while the pats have improved markedly. that = pretty clear, IMO

but they were only in that game b/c of a monumental collapse by the Chargers. the Chargers last year were better than the Pats

Things I want to say:
Peyton Manning is still the best QB in the league. The Colts defense could be much improved.

Ben Roethlisberger is healthy, and the Steelers will be a very, very good team.

NE losing Seymour would be a big, big hit.

Man, the Colts looked horrible against a really weak team.

Brady looked way way better than Manning as well.

By much improved, even an average defense would help the Colts a lot.

And the Steelers should be much better than 8-8.

Patriots are still the favorite to win the AFC, but they're not far and away ahead of everyone else.

no, they are ahead a little bit of indy and SD and even more than the next tier which would include pitts/balt etc.

thing with the indy defense is they lost like 5 starters and oddly enough didnt seem to upgrade those slots. losing booger is fairly big.

Scary thing is when Randy has an off game..it will probably mean Donte has a good one.

Welker and Watson will clean up every game in the middle.
