Microplane makes the greatest hand-held cheese graters ever. The thing makes me want to grate cheese all the time. I also have their zester. Some sticker-shock (I mean, it is just a grater) but it is, imo, well worth the price premium.

I got a really nice grater with a container to catch the grated cheese, which makes it easier than grating over a bowl.
