"Dark Side of the Moon", Pink Floyd.

Oh wait, that was when I was in cololege, which should give you an idea of how goddamn old I am now. It's still a great album, though. Yeah, everything was on vinyl when I was in college. Very few of the players were hand-cranked, though.

Another question: Are the people that listen to all this crap tolerable to be around? Because almost everything listed in this thread is horrible or at least made horrible through redundancy. I find it difficult to find common grounds with these people. Because of this I find it difficult to maintain genuine friendships within the college circles. Feelings here?

The only musical bonds me and these people share according to this thread are The Doors and Led Zepplin. Perhaps some Chili Peppers. But the damn Beatles I'm worn out on. Besides, they don't compare in musical genius to the preceding groups (But I would not criticize someone for liking them if they have other decent music in their repertoire. But even relating these bands over and over makes me sick and I have to remind myself that I actually like them when I reach for a cd to play.

A little off topic, but I once saw a bumper sticker that gave me a good belly laugh. It said, "Jerry's dead. Phish suck. Get a job."
