I agree. If he has a boat on the turn he's betting hoping to be checkraised or to make you pay for your draw, drawing dead. I can't think of a single legit reason he might check the turn...maybe if he thinks you have the ace-high draw, thinks you will bluff the river, and thinks you will call a raise on the river (but will not call a river bet?). I'm tired though and could be wrong.

this thread should die. it's a 3 bet. i misread kms as being his typical weak tight self when in fact he was spewy and loose in vegas all summer (please note all, this hand was posted in july). part of it was being a little scared because it was the first hand of the first time i played 3-6, and part of it was a complete misread on him. it is irrational to think he'd have a boat there (although not as impossible as some of you seem to think) and 3 betting is clearly the play.
