Yea signing a player who put up career worsts in ERA, WHIP, and BAA to a ginormous contract is probably a good idea. You're right I am wrong. Bottom line is he is in the decline and will just be another wasted contract in a year.

*Career worst not counting the 19 games he played in 95

prop $1k that rivera has a lower ERA next season, minimum of 50 games/50 innings?

I guess this is like talking to Sox fans about Manny declining. Sigh.

A Pitcher's luck is not something that declines with age.

If you feel that way, give us some evidence that means something and we'll have an intelligent argument about it. Until you do, STFU.

Nothing about the Yankees resigning Arod? Seems he's negotiating without Boras and contacted the Yankees through a 3rd party.

Hmmm who should we have as our closer next year...Mo or Farnsworth or maybe Todd Jones.

yeah real tough call.

We have had like 30-40 million in wasted money over the last couple years yet we managed to make the playoffs every time. I think we can handle an extra 5 million for Mo over each of the next couple of years.

I know your coming off a high given your actually managed to start winning this decade...but get back to us when you've won more than 5 WS over basically a 90 year span.

Awesome.

Nice to see A-Rod say [censored] you to Boras.
