I really haven't even figured out how to talk to the people in my life about the money involved with poker yet. Most of my friends are struggling to make $20-30k a year. The successful ones make around $65k. If I mentioned I was up nearly $70k last month, I think it could make things weird. I actually really worry about it when I am drinking because this stuff is exciting and its easy to brag/let it slip when boozing. I hope I get it figured out as I move forward.

For sure. I moved up "permanently" to midstakes last April. I have been a full time engineer too until a few months ago too, so I was only playing 15-20k hands a month. I hope this thing lasts awhile [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]. I didnt get on the NL bandwagon until a year ago.
