A Cole, Lampard, possibly Drogba

Combine all that hate, x it by 10000000000000000 and you have .1% of the hate for Eric Cantona.

Aside from 95 I don't recall Cantona being that hated. That was more of a phase, like Beckham in 98. I think a lot of people even find that incident hilarious in hindsight. Keane was probably more unpopular, particularly after his book came out. Cole is easily as hated, even Chelsea fans think he's a wanker.

I think you probably are close to it. Mourinho's maybe not as unpopular as Ferguson was, but A Cole, Lampard, possibly Drogba as well are easily among the most disliked footballers around. Furthermore you have added resentments we never had in that your success was funded by outside means, and your football is nowhere near as attractive as United's is and was.

why the [censored] would anyone hate drogba?

Excessive diving in the early days mainly, much like Ronaldo and others. Less so nowadays, hence the possibly.

Btw, I hate most of the Chelsea players because they bitch about everything, intimidate refs, and play for a jackass team.

Fallen Hero posting just reminded me.

In Portugeese is the J pronounced like it is in Spanish or like a J in English. I always smile a little when they say "JOE-zay Morinho" since I'm so accustomed to the Spanish name José (ho-SAY). Is it actually approximately correct to pronounce the J as it would be in English? I'm pretty sure that the stress is supposed to go on the last syllable, which they mess up every time, but I'm not sure about the J.

ManU are the scum. Always will be. The reasons for this are many and obvious.

Also I dont know any football fan that doesnt depise Ashley Cole, I mean his "Arsenal disrespected me by offering 55k a week instead of 60k so I'm going to Chelsea where I'll get respected and 100k a week" speech makes me want to smack him repeatedly

Also I just found this thread and will try and join in. I'm a Villa fan so pile on the jokes now before we storm up the league!
