If you look at the buyin, number of entrants, and payout for 1st, its clear that most if not all of the wins were actual first place, unique wins.

why is he playing such small buyings? I mean I get you couldnt do this in a bunch of big tournies, but why waste several hours in a .25 cent buyin tourny to win $5? You could just play a couple hands of midstakes and fly just as far under the radar and make a lot more money in way less time

maybe it was just practice or something???

I think pretty much everyone in this thread is mostly aviding AP now.
And even with all the 2+2'ers here staying away they still have a couple games of limit 30/60 going on and 4 games of 10/20 along with a bunch of 5/10 and 3/6.

On the NL side there is 1 HU gsme at 25/50 and another at 15/30.
A bunch all the way down to 2/4.

256 players in their current $50 buy-in $10k guaranteed MTT so they don't even have an overlay there.

There are 21k players online right now although that probably includes play-money also of course.

IOW - even with all the 2+2'ers staying away as I assume most are currently, it probably hasn't had that much of an impact on their games.

In fact, some saavy and less-principled 2+2'er risk-takers who trust that AP won;t just eat their money may actually be MORE interested in playing there now if the absence of so many 2+2'ers leads to significantly softer games.

I'm pretty sure this is a false alarm we had this discussion about $500 winners and how many of them are satellite qualifiers on p5s already...

Does the database only show tourneys? If you can get info on the cash games, shortly after the big wins, you might see big cash game losses, indicating dumping.
