genetics does play a role.. your metabolism for instance.. but weight is simple caloric intake vs calories used.

Boy, you're dumber than I thought.

Gobbo is massive right now. Being that massive isn't a "physical defect"...it's being lazy and eating horrible foods. There is no doubt he could lose a hudge % of his body weight with some effort. He CHOOSES not to make that effort.

He even has money to make this process as easy as possible. (Could hire a personal trainer and a chef for a few months, etc.)

Yet he chooses to stay uber fat.

Just as lilholdem chooses to dress the way he does.

So plz just stfu, and stop giving advice to others about character issues.

it possible for most people to will themselves to take the steps necessary to lose weight or maintain a weight...so in that respect it is a choice...but it certainly takes more effort for some people than for others

I'm a thin guy and I have never stopped to think about what I eat and I never really exercise

I'd like to say that if I were not so fortunate and had to diet and exercise to not become obese, I would...but I don't know if it would be the truth. (I'm only 20, so maybe I'll find out at some point in my life) Can anyone in my situation be so sure?

I don't know gobbo (although I did pass him getting out of an elevator at Turning Stone, Brag...but I was drunk and didn't realize it was him until the elevator closed, Beat...and I got off on the wrong floor, lol)...but I certainly don't think less of him because of his weight
