The only time I recall hearing the term scum used when not directed at Manchester United was by Man United fans directed at Liverpool.

as far as ManU getting the general scum, TOFAK is the first brit I have heard that isn't a Livershite or City fan that refers to them as that. I have a bunch of friends from england and scotland, and while the lot of them don't like manU, they don't call them the scum, they just more roll their eyes
