If a spot is under attack, or if you're trying fill in a new spot, the quickest and most efficient way to succeed is to do cross hatching over the entire area:

It might look ugly up close but it gives the illusion of a solid color when zoomed out, which i'm guessing is the primary objective.

I finally got registered on the drawballfans.com forums. The drawballfans.com, VIP, and [H] Logo are majorly protected with dedicated people (some have 6 computers running on different ip addresses). They got a [censored] of ink. We as BBV may not have that, but we have power in numbers, if we can stop destroying our own logo, it could possibly be there for a while.
