Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
What part of "I have never ever driven drunk" didn't you understand? Being guilty of DUI, especially for someone under 21, is not the same as driving drunk.

I've sold and trafficked large quantities of various drugs. I smuggled one pill of ecstacy and a small bag of cocaine (without knowing it) from Las Vegas to Korea to Thailand, this could probably get me the death penalty if I had been caught. [/ QUOTE ] Wow on the last one, I almost did the same thing between Mainland China and HK, luckily i discovered it on the train before customs and finished off the bag before I got there. |
Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
Not quite illegal, but criminal nevertheless.
I sent someone the complete bible in digital form over the fido-net (for the younger guys out there: This was before the internet was wide-spread. Not that long ago, actually). I sent it broken up in 30000 messages. Good times. |

Being too awesome.
Nothing huge. Shop lifting in early middle school and stealing one of my grandfather's cars (he sold them used as a private dealer) when I was like 13 and taking a joy ride around for like 15 min. That's it. I'm a good girl. |
Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
I played online poker in the USA.
It was only once. I'll never do it again, I swear. |
Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
When I was a teenager, I was quite the theif. I worked at best buy in the cell/digital camera department. I have an odd photographic memory. I see something and I'm just able to memorize stuff. I dunno how I do it. Anyways, I would memorize peoples' credit card numbers. The problem with that was, you can't just type in peoples' numbers and buy stuff without the access code from a cashier supervisor. So I had to watch the supervisor type it in twice before I could do it. I got two 27' inch tvs, two dvd players, and a video camera. Then they started to get suspicious. I never got in trouble for it though.

I guess it's vandalism, but when we were kids, my friend and i used to go to the drugstore and use a stickpin to poke holes through all the boxes of condoms. [/ QUOTE ] This is the worst one on here. Only one that made me cringe. |
Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
I guess trafficking in meth is pretty bad but I was drunk at the time.

Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
When I was about 16 my friends and I went to this rich girls place. Her and her girlfriends were going out somewhere and her parents were out of town. One of us snuck over to the back door and unlocked it. When they were ready to leave, we got in our car, drove around the block, went back and ransacked the place. Got about 50 cds/dvds, bunch of liquor, champagne, jewelry, video camera, and other stupid stuff. It was quite the rush...never saw the girls again.

Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
I defrauded an insurance company. When I was like 17 I rear-ended another car, but told my mom and the insurance company that I must have been hit while I was in the KFC parking lot.

[ QUOTE ] wow you ppl are lame. [/ QUOTE ] What exactly are you expecting people to put in a public forum? Rape and Murder convictions? You are going to get a bunch of harmless college prank type stuff. Any mention of something harder than that is prolly fake anyway. [/ QUOTE ] Just in case, perhaps I should take this opportunity to mention, again, that I'm a criminal appeals attorney. And I have no qualms about being paid in poker proceeds. |

Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
[ QUOTE ]
a couple of years ago i purchased some rare cigars that were worth alot of money and had them insured from fire among other things. i smoked the cigars and after i finished i tried to sue the insurance company because my cigars caught on fire and were burned. they refused to pay and i took them to court. the judge ruled that i was entitled to $15,000 compensation from the insurance company because despite the fact that i had smoked my own cigars, they were in fact insured against fire. the insurance company paid the check immediately. shortly after cashing the check, the insurance company had 2 police officers come and arrest me for 24 counts of arson. i was convicted of intentionally burning insured property and was sentenced to a 24 month sentence but was let out after 6 months on parole. [/ QUOTE ] funny story. not yours of course, as I heard that story when I was in like the 10th grade about 18 years ago. |
Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
Although I'm not involved, this might fit somehow in this thread.
A friend of my brothers told him that her niece from Boston goes to school in NY. Through a family connection the niece got a part time job babysitting for a NY family. The family went on vacation and asked her to house sit in order to take care of their dog. While housesitting, the dog died. She called the family, family decides to stay on vacation, father coordinates with local vet to do what needs to be done, all the niece has to do is get the dead dog to the vet's office. They decide what is best is to put the dog in an old suitcase and use the subway to transport. Girl rides subway to stop, has trouble carrying suitcase up the stairs to street level. Guy asks girl if she needs help, she says yes. Guy picks up case and follows her up the stairs. He says that case is heavy, what's in it? She says "computer equipment". They get to top of stairs, guys runs off with case. |
