That's your opinion, but just about every poker player now in thailand live there ( a few in phuket too ) , but that's probably because we are all clueless.

exactly. ps is bkk really that cheap? i'd imagine that up north is cheaper and much less big-city-like, if that's what you want.

Do you have visas or something to stay there 4 months? I thought by default you can only stay 30 days.

current plan is

1) get visa
2) get plane tickets
3) get jabs
4) book hotel in bangkok for about a week
5) from bangkok find somewhere else to live
6) ????
7) profit

any potential problems i seem to be creating with this plan?
