Meh. Both liberals and conservatives define freedom within the confines of their preferred societal framework. Neither one believes in the most important freedom of all, the freedom to keep every penny you earn.

Here are some conservative thoughts about freedom. Conservative unfortunately as it seems many (including those in top positions) do not agree with them today.

But ok - equality as I used it points to an attempt at treating people the same when upholding principles.
