your turn bet is absoluetly awful.

If you made a real bet and the following action happened, i'd fold pretty easy.

As played, i would call it off as a punishment for betting the turn like a retard.

i can't even stress how fast i'd press the call button. You throw out a weak 1/3 pot bet and immediately put him on the nuts when he raises it?

misread action much?

sorry sorry lol i misread this hand like 3 times for some reason, i even posted another response and had to delete it out of pure shame

This pretty much sums it up for me.

If this guy is capable of having 88/KK here, he's just as capable of having AK/AA here (especially if you consider that he just called PF instead of 4betting that really small squeeze, with OP in the pot). And he can just as easily have 89/TJ[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]/Ax[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] because you know he isn't folding anything to that 3bet pf.

Imagine he does have AA or AK, what else do you expect him to do on this board vs a fish who now looks like he has a decent hand he's going to put money in with and against a guy who just made the gayest bet ever on a really draw board.

The key is that UTG checked behind the flop, which he probably never would do with AA/AK.

UTG has 88 or 99 more often than KK, IMO.

Yeah wtf, I agree with what you said in your post Xorbie, but how in the world do you account for the flop action?

Better chance he'd do it with 99 than AA or AK.

right, but we are getting very good price on our money, so unless "better" means he's doing it like 10 times as often or something, you just can't discount the fact that there are 12 AK and 6 AA combos to the 3 99 and 3 88 ones.
