This 'runner runner' would seem to be an impossibility. I have never had this happen to me before, nor have I ever heard of it happening to anyone else. In my experience, best hand preflop and/or on the flop always wins.

Since OP is the first person in the history of poker to have this bizarre occurrence happen to him, I think we should not dismiss his claims so lightly.
