I don't watch a ton of this stuff. But thats classless and he should lose half his purse. "OMG no... someone made fun of me. Hurt my roided out feelings..."

If he held it until Heath passed out, then he should face felony charges. There's no place for that in MMA.

Randy though is THA MAN! absolutely unreal. I was on the edge of my seat for the duration of the match. Much more than when he faced Sylvia.

It wasn't that bad, but that crap shouldn't be tolerated, regardless of what Heath had said earlier.

Yep hope that guy gets his arm broken after he taps in an armbar.

Renato crossed the line, but I can't feel any sympathy for Heath. I mean wtf, what did he think would happen when he acts so disrespectfully towards Sobral.

Doing that in an armbar would be FAR worse though. There's a good chance you'll injure the arm/elbow, whereas getting choked out is generally pretty safe. If he'd held on after he was unconscious then it would be really dangerous, but he just held on till he went out.

Disobeying the ref and not breaking holds is a line that shouldn't be crossed though.

One of my old coworkers trained with Sobral for some time (he has a brown belt in BJJ and Sobral trains in the Lake Forest / Irvine area) and said that Sobral is a really nice, cool guy. It's a little strange that someone with that kind of reputation would hold a choke after the guy taps.
