That game did play fast. Not uncommon to see pots $100+ pots.

Unless you are a high limit player, or there are major game selection issues in your area, I don't see a good EV based reason to learn another game besides maybe limit hold em. Stud and omaha is dealt so damned slow, and the learning curve is gonna be viscious for you.

If you MUST go with a different game, pick omaha/8. Enjoy getting eaten alive by tips/the rake when you split the pot or get quartered every damn times.

I would 100 percent reccomend taking up omaha8 for many reasons.
1. with a basic knowledge of the game u can be "killing" most low limit games that are mostly loose/passive.
2 ***********************************************
3. This game is very forgiving, and stud is 100 percent not. in a very short time u can find out real quick how unforgiving stud really is, and be down serious money.
