Sorry, I don't post results anymore unless there is a reason to.

Regardless of whether you value their opinion or not, it's a basic courtesy to let the responders to your post know how it played out. Especially if asked. Come on now. Is that really debateable?

It's not that he doesn't value their opinion. It's that when he posts results, everyone yells at him for being results oriented. So he decided not to post results, so people wouldn't call him names. A decision which is, curiously enough, results oriented.

thanks to those who provided very insightful posts. obviously there were a million different ways to play this hand, and I'm not sure my line was best. tough spot.

Dave, given the size of the pot preflop > 600bb did the $ aspect weigh on any decisions (re utility theory) as I think I read you talking about only starting to feel comfortable at 25/50 NLH in this type of game ?

well, playing these stakes, a 60k pot is very big for me. the dollar factor certainly weighed on my mind. but i have always played higher stakes live than i have online, so when I talked about 25/50 i meant online. i've been playing 25/50 LIVE (and higher) for around a year now, so i'm pretty immune to the swings. but obviously, this was a huge pot and the $ were important to me. i'm not sure i would have played the hand differently though, if the $ didn't matter, so that didn't really affect this decision.
