I know what the WWE is capable of doing, I've seen the Katie Vicks, I've seen the Pillman gun incident, and I've seen them fake Vince's death.

With that in mind, I don't think there's any way in hell they bring a wrestler's family dying into an angle. It would just be too much.

Edit - Big Boss Man serving Al Snow's chihuahua to him for dinner was pretty over the top as well.

This is really really bad. I can't imagine what this could be, Benoit's family dead?

Also are there any news from Sensational sherri? Meltzer have been reporting that it doesn't look good as well, that the police are still investigating and not releasing details as of yet. It doesn't look like it's from drugs and may very well be foul play.

This is awful, back to back weeks of suspicious deaths in the wwe.

Found on Wikipedia: PW Headlines stated that Benoit called in to WWE Sunday and said he would be unable to make it back as his family was ill and they were spitting up blood.

as much as i hate to say this, i hope this is really just an bizzarre angle wwe is trying to take.

1. this would single-handedly be the most shocking thing they've pulled and can work as a double-edge sword for them. It would garner the attention of many lost viewers, but it would also lose MANY MANY fans in disgust.

2. it would mean chris benoit is still alive and well, which i would prefer anyways.

Guys, this is not a work.

I know the wwe is tasteles but even they wouldn't go this far faking the deaths of the entire family. Not to mention it coming at the worst time imaginable. Although I am praying that it's a work too but this is just too much to take in.
