Re: And the Winner Is:
Hi Gonso:
I spoke to them late today and you should hear from them tomorrow. Best wishes, Mason |
Re: And the Winner Is:
Thanks for your suggestions Boz and Earl Sleek. The title is the most difficult part right now and I'm probably going to trash the title I have now and play around with "World Class" some more. A shorter title would help a lot, but as Boz mentioned, Mason would have to approve.

Hi Roxysurfergirl00:
We already have announced the book with its current title including to some of our buyers. So this makes it difficult to change the title. Best wishes, Mason |
Re: And the Winner Is:
No problem Mason, but I won't be available at all after 6pm EST, maybe not even that late.

I keep getting ideas on how to layout this title in a way that it looks similar to the original, so I'm sure I will come up with something good. ~Marcia~ |

Wow, congrats to all of the winners. They all look great! Talent at poker, talent with illustration and design...

Re: And the Winner Is:
Here is another revised version of my WCHS&SHLHE. I took Earl's suggestion into consideration and moved the "world class" from the corner to the left top and changed the kerning and the leading a bit. I added the space for Alan Schoonmaker's picture, and enlarged the Club in the back in order to fit the author's on the spine inside of it. I think it looks much better with the changed title.

Re: And the Winner Is:
Hi Roxysurfergirl00:
One suggestion. On the back cover the order of the picutres from left to right should be Ray Zee, David Fromm, and then Alan Schoonmaker. Best wishes, Mason |
Re: And the Winner Is:
Mason,
I switched the black on the chips to a brighter color and changed the border to white. Using the white border with the original colors on the chip also distinguishes the chip from the background. -Jim http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...ites/light.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...ites/black.jpg |
Re: And the Winner Is:
I really like the changes you made. Very nice contrast.
