I want to see if people can make a case for a raise, or a fold on the flop or a fold on turn ...

dude, no.

as played i would fold the turn. you called a PF 4-bet so he knows youre in the uppermost part of your range, and then you show even more strength by calling his flop bet.
it looks like he puts you on exactly AK and doesnt think you will fold.

I think this is an interesting line of thought. Sure AK got all it needed, but you basically need him to be bluffing a very large % of the time to call the turn, and is that really imaginable?

[/ QUOTE ]

no, im saying he cant ever expect you to fold the turn after you call the flop, so hes almost never bluffing.
and i thinkk even if villain has AK he checks that turn. it would be much better for him to give you a shot to bluff (however unlikely that is) than to push into youre possible AA or JJ, right? becasue even if you check behind he would still be able to easily get all in on the river
so folding turn is correct.

or did i misunderstand you?

we are on the same page

This is rediculously easy call as played. Just push flop and make things easy, the chances of him having AA and the last A comes on flop are very small. Just get it in.

pretty much agreed. I think I got outplayed just a little bit on this hand, but he put in almost half of the effective stack as a big dog, so I dunno

I DO think people will tilt and bluff turn though sometimes, with the pot this huge ... maybe half a case for calling flop

You didn't get outplayed at all. This was what I was talking about earlier... I think you frustrated him here and you got him to commit a big chunk of his stack. I think you didn't consider your image 100% here. This seems like a steam play to me. You re-sucked out right? You should have typed "ship it, learn to play in 4 bet pots"

Do you think he is shoving a 2 on the turn?

Yeah I re-4-outed. I don't chat on the tables. What'sa 2 on the turn? I'm off to sleep now, peace

I dont like preflop because hitting a K you still arent real happy. Even IP I think I let it go vs this guy.

After you hit TPTK I think folding is dumb.

with the turn action, i think AK is now only a bluff catcher at this point
