[ QUOTE ] Third FPP is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches $5.00. [/ QUOTE ] When does it reach 5$? In my db the rake has never been more than 3$ playing 100$ NL FR and 200$ NL FR. [/ QUOTE ] IIRC 50/100 and higher. |
Re: Pokerstars: VPP per hand

Re: Pokerstars: VPP per hand
I'd really like to see more 1/2NL players posting their VPP/hand, particularly their pre- and post-2007 numbers.
I've gone through my PT database, and of course I know these aren't independent data, but of those players for whom I have more than 4000 hands, all but one are getting .500 VPP/hand or less. I am now getting .500 on the nose, over 23,382 hands since Jan 1st. Should it make a difference that I play exclusively on the fast tables? I checked my friend's database. In 2006 he made .619 over 16,757 hands. In 2007 he has made .533 over 35,868 hands. Are the games getting tighter, thereby generating less rake? |
Re: Pokerstars: VPP per hand
i think a lot of it is going to depend on
1] your playing style. If you are laggro and playing more hands, you are going to be contributing to driving up pot sizes. if you are a set miner, now there are really only 5 people on the table who are contributing and once in a while you hit a big hand and try to make a big pot. 2] table selection. If you are good at tracking down the good tables and finding the maniacs, you are going to accumulate alot more vpps. |
Re: Pokerstars: VPP per hand
3/6 limit 6 max - .715 VPP/hand over only 2k hands.
