Wish I'd taken the day off. 1-10 for the day capped off by a brutal loss with WVa and Perf's best MMA bet going down. Money wise my worst day ever. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I had a real nice day thanks to Arkansas, Cincy, and UNC. Shame most of it was cancelled out by the Oregon debacle on Thursday.

i had a very nice day today (up 6.5 units overall) thanks to the great cincinnati backdoor cover, some easy wins by the likes of uconn and ul-monroe, and by me not spamming my card with random 49% bets that ruin the patient hard work i put in on thursday and friday when i am placing most of my good bets. i wiped out about 30% of the losses that i've accumulated in the first ten weeks of the college football season.

this was definitely the first saturday this year i didn't take any gross fourth quarter beats. what a difference it makes to be on the other side of one of those.

+11u this week. God bless Utah St. +6.93u on that game alone. Curses to Fla International, Hawaii, and Vandy, though that ML was just a .5u play.

It's funny how when I look at the lines at the beginning of the week, I forget that I'm lucky to be a break-even capper. I always feel all confident in my picks on Tuesday and then I feel stupid again by Saturday.

Anyway, finished the week 4-5 ATS, 0-2 ML, -2.49 units. I guess it isn't that bad looking back, but I did lose my first 5 picks today before winning on OSU and getting a miracle backdoor on Cincy, so that kind of put a damper on my confidence.

That was the last 3 weeks for me. One of the weeks included a kind of back door cover of winning 4u on the lone sunday night cfb game to break even on the week. Last two weeks I remember saying to my betting buddy, "these picks are good right? I mean we're playing the right sides, right?" Meh? Time to start capping next week.
