Mine is up against probably the best or second best entry. I'd rank mine at around... 4th best of the lot. Sucks that I'm going to go out this round and a couple of real crappy entries make it through. *sigh* so rigged.

I'm definitely starting to think these might work better if all 16 were posted and voters selected the 8 best as opposed to having to eliminate two or three good ones because their competition was better and send through the weak sauces. But oh well them's the breaks sometimes you run bad etc.

I agree. Maybe they should be seeded off the best overall poll. Like out of the people that qualify the highest ranked plays the lowest ranked, second highest plays second lowest, etc in the next round. So if you run into tough competition it's your own fault. This would mean it wouldn't be anonymous though but prevents the lottery of pairings at random.
