Last week I made my picks on Monday without really thinking about them and more going with my gut. Wednesday I actually did some analysis and bet the Eagles/49ers over and took the Saints +195 and took home a decent profit for the week. Now that it's Friday and I have nothing to do in work, here are the picks of the week:

411 Saints +7.5
Love this game. Carolina's only win comes against Tampa Bay, who they gave up 24 points to and had to come from behind to win. Carolina converts less than 20% of their 3rd downs. They are ridiculiously bad and I can't come up with any reason that the spread would be this large.

401/402 over 46.5
It's the Colts and the Jets...Even Houston put up 24 against the Colts defense. Once the Colts get up a 35 point lead, they'll put in their second string D and let Chad put up a few points of his own.

403 Chargers -2.5
This should be a blowout. But I'm 0-3 on my $200 games. This was a Sunday night pick and the line seemed WAY off. This will be the first "real" matchup for both the Ravens and the Chargers who have handily beaten the weaker teams in the league. The Chargers are coming off a bye and the Ravens are coming off a squeaker at Cleveland. I give the edge to the Chargers by more than a field goal.

413/414 under 40.5
I'm taking a stab at this one, but here's my reasoning: Atlanta is a rushing team, and Arizon's defense is horrible. Running eats up the clock. I don't think there will be enough time to score 41 points.
