Re: channeling my inner TWP
josh,
i would be shocked to see 66 here. while it may be arguable that 66=qq here, or whatever (since i will rarely have aa/kk or any pair here really), in the heat of battle, 66 does not LOOK like qq, and i think someone with 66's logic might go like "hmm, i think i have the best hand, but i cant be sure, so im going to fold because i really dont want to find out. mmm best case scenario flush draw and overs, worse case scenario drawing to 2 outs". and then they will fold. |

[ QUOTE ] I think he has a small overpair the vast majority of the time. [/ QUOTE ] and something else that should be mentioned is we should have a flush draw a lot here. we also 100% don't have AA-QQ, and there's no way in hell we're shoving with JJ or TT here, so it's pretty obvious to a decent hand reader that we should have a big flush draw, so i wouldn't be shocked to see 66 call [/ QUOTE ] while i agree that a decent hand reader will think we have a big flush draw. I don't see how 66-TT can call since they will have six additional outs to fade assuming they are right, and there is no way somebody can be 100% sure phil has a flush draw. So i think most people's thinking with thse small/medium pairs would be: "i really think its a coinflip, but if it's not im crushed" at least that is what they should think, but they will probably end up saying say "jesus christ, just put all in i can lose two buyins..there ya go, god bless america, son of a god damn bitch"" |
Re: channeling my inner TWP
