SC's gives Chauncey Washington too many carries, IMHO.

I agree 100% with this. I've never been a big fan of the RB by committee approach, but USC has taken it to a new level this year. They should just go with Johnson as the feature back with a little bit of Gable and Washington sprinkled in.

I like RBBC. But they gave Chauncey Washington 20 carries, and only gave Stefon Johnson 14. Stafon Johnson hasn't gotten 20 carries all year and that's insane considering his ridic YPC.

Re: College Football Week 5

A couple thoughts after watching way too much ball:

1. Even if they have managed to win 3 in a row, Michigan is still [censored] horrible. Can't man up and run it down Northwestern's throat? Pathetic. Still Motor City Bowl bound at best.

2. Michigan State under Dantonio appears to be an entirely different - and astoundingly better - team. They showed a lot of creativity on O and some playmakers on D. They may not be top 25 yet, but the coaching staff seems to know what they're doing. [Censored].

3. I didn't know if the Jake Locker hype was deserved. Now that I've seen him in action, I'd take him in a second. He could be ridiculously good in a couple years.

4. USC's 2nd and 3rd string O linemen are >>>>>>>> your team's 1st string O line. Their line hardly ever gets beat, either man on man or by scheme, regardless of who is in the game. So impressive.

5. I still wish Brent Musberger would get traded to CSTV, or better yet Japanese TV.

I loved when Herbstreet was trying to give a reasoned explanation for why he felt Oregon deserved a #5 ranking Musberger was giving this amused expression and mumbling about how crazy Herbstreet was for trying to get a losing team to move up in the rankings, while herbstreet was talking Dude, shut up. He's trying to defend his claim. He's giving a thought-out argument that goes against conventional wisdom LET HIM SPEAK!!!! (I disagree that Oregon should be ranked that high, but that's not the point)

USF should be in the top 10 for sure. (even if it's #10)

09/01 Elon W 28-13
09/08 at #17 Auburn W 26-23
09/22 UNC W 37-10
09/28 #5 W Virginia W 21-13

They certainly deserve to be in the top 20.

ok.. as long as W Virginia gets to be below USF that's fine.
