Okay Brew, I sort of failed my 6k challenge, but we're going to say it's okay because I came pretty damn close to 6k hands.

Weak. Play the other 298 hands for pride!

I made 1.5 BI in 346 hands at 50NL, but I probably made 3BIs worth of mistakes in that same period; brag or beat?

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah...blackjack's the only table game I know how to play (knowing how to play means having a +ev edge or having the lowest -ev disadvantage). And I really think I could pull off one of the simple counting systmes like KO or Hi/Lo but only if there were 3 or fewer players at the table....more than that + the dealer going as fast as he/she does and I get lost after 3-5 hands. Maybe if I practiced it....but that'd be stupid since I already have such an edge at certain poker games and I would rarely travel to AC to play blackjack.....plus their deck penetration is always gonna be an issue and I would likely need to learn a more complicated counting system to be able to really count on it to make some money.

Brag though: I'm up about $1200 on AC at blackjack (not counting comps)...it's been over 3 visits over the last 4 month or so.

Beat: I was up about $1875 on them until they gave me a free room for two nights in October and I went with my girlfriend for a fun getaway. I spent 70 bucks for a bottle of vodka (smirnoff too, nothing great) and orange juice (next time we bring our own booze) and I lost $640....she lost $100. (Just to clarify though she's still up like a bit over $200 and my dad was there once too and he made over $500.)

Variance...I have 4 free rooms (one per week) for November.

Thing I hate: The day I lost the $640 I had a $50 match play...meaning I put down 50 bucks and the ticket and its a $100 payout. I did it at single deck BJ table and I was the only one there, then one other guy sat....and it was easy enough to know I had a [censored] killer spot (not one card above a 7 had come out after 2 hands...so easy to spot) so I threw it down:

I got an 11 against a 6 for crying out loud. So I doubled down so I'm in for $150 + my ticket looking for a $200 profit return. Naturally the dealer makes a 21 so within the first 15 minutes I'm there I'm down $150 soon to be down $200 in my first 25 minutes.... when I actually knew I had a ridiculous +ev spot and played it as such. What really kills me is that I actually like really really knew how +ev a spot it was before the cards were dealt. I bounced aroound for a while and as late as 5 or so hours later I was up a bit but ended up down $640 that night.

about the counting systems. They will catch you doing 90% of them without a team. Aside from that, the past few casino's ive been to, use a perpetual shuffler, so it negates any card counting EV whatsoever. They save the single deck...and even the 4-6 deck games for more baller stakes than I play.

You should really learn craps....its so fun. the last time I played craps was in detroit...all the 'locals' bet against me when I was rolling lmao.

I sawy those wheel of fortune things my last trip. I hate slots though...I never play those stupid things...I mena they're boring as hell...oooh pulll the lever, push the button....plus the advertising campaing is 85% of money back or w/e....like c'mon they are actually advertising that however much money goes in 85% of that come back.....they're advertising that is supposed to attract people is bascially saying that you are going to lose 15% of w/e you put in and that's probably a really really good deal.

Maybe I should learn craps but it's probably not worth my time that it would take.

And poker is soooo +ev in casinos...although also boring since it's 20-30 hands per hour and probably less ev than online depending on the stakes you play also due to the hands per hour figure....though live your winrate would likely be much larger.

If only they'd let me at least 4 table live....though I could easily do more if they were all right next to each other.

Hell yea....AK on an A high flop is the nuts 150 BB's deep. It certainly was last time I played when I stacked what I gave credit to being AQ but he said he had AJ. Usually online I just call his flop donk....but libe I raise his $30 to $85 then just bet the turn and the river until they're shipping a 300 BB pot to my backdoored A high flush (I didn't need the flush...TPTK was good.) Soooo bad. If we could get more hands in live I could make sooo much money at casinos.....though I gues they'd go broke faster (but there are prolly more fishes live, right, I dunno)...all I know is live games are ridiculously soft and I still make more $ per hour online because you can play so many more hands online than live per hour.

Let's picket casinos for the ability to multitable poker.
