Jaws was filmed on Martha's Vinyard. I only know this because I work for Universal, and have heard the stories about what a clusterfk the shoot was...

Not the band I was referring too. He was actually fired after he missed the tour bus and they didn't bother sending for him and just picked up a replacement at the next gig.

He was, however, kicked out of his gig with Ike and Tina for frequently upstaging them his guitar solos.
